Bring Me to God

Beauty,
wild like a beast,
I fear to tame,
Empyrean portals,
like the ferryman's orbs of flame,
absolve my heart,
find no blame,
like the Divine Poet,
I'll traverse the plains,
my desire,
to answer the call of Beatrice by other name,
if you have open arms,
I'll endure the pain.
